QB-2 Blankets (2″ Thick) – Mainly absorbs mid-to-high frequencies for clearer sound control
QB-4 Blankets (4″ Thick) – Provides balanced absorption across all frequencies, including deeper low-end noise
Both models feature a vinyl-coated fiberglass cloth facing on both sides of a 1.6 PCF density fiberglass core, available in black, gray, white, or tan.

Outdoor Sound Absorption – QBX Blankets
For exterior noise control, QBX blankets provide the same exceptional sound absorption benefits as their indoor counterparts but are built to withstand outdoor conditions. Unlike QB, QBX blankets do not feature a Class A fire-rated facing, making them ideal for exterior applications where fire resistance is not a requirement.

Installation & Mounting
Each QB Blanket is constructed with bound edges and grommets across the top for easy hanging. Additional grommets can be added upon request. Common installation methods include:
- Wall Mounting: Secure with screws, fender washers, or anchors on drywall, brick, or concrete
- Suspended Hanging: Use hooks, tie-wire, or heavy-duty zip ties
Shipping
QB Blankets are packaged and shipped in boxes shrunk wrap on a pallet. Depending on the size of your order, the blankets will typically ship via common carrier direct to your project site.
