Make your space more enjoyable and user-friendly by improving the sound quality in your room. NetWell Noise Control offers a variety of quality acoustic panel options that are designed to capture and convert the unwanted echoes from your space. In so doing, greater clarity to original sound is restored, crowd noise collapses, and your space becomes more functional and able to host a variety of events in comfort. The acoustic panels will enhance communications and produce a lower overall level of noise pollution. Combined, these sound panel systems will produce a more productive work environment, a more favorable dining experience, a higher quality learning environment, lower levels of exposure to crowd noise, premium sound values in social settings, enhanced communications, a more valued worship experience, and overall a more functional and friendly multipurpose venue for our clients to enjoy. Simply put, our soundproofing panels are designed to make your space more comfortable and enjoyable.
Your choice in acoustic panels will determine the success of your soundproofing treatment. Care must be given to the amount of coverage of the sound panels you will be introducing into your venue, as well as the thickness of the panels. Trained sound consultants can help guide you through the process of choosing your acoustic panels. Your coverage amounts will depend on the size, shape and surface textures of your room. The thickness of your acoustic panel system will depend on the frequency of the noise source.
The cubic footage of your space will be the indicator as to how much square footage of acoustic panel you should be targeting for your soundproofing treatment. The key to the success of the treatment is to safeguard against under treating your space. By submitting a Room Analysis, NetWell can pinpoint your coverage amounts and quote your noise reduction project.
Acoustic panels will combine to generate the absorption coefficients your room needs regardless of exact pinpoint location, so long as the right amount of panel is introduced to the room, exposed to the room, not hidden behind other surfaces (such as underneath a table) and evenly distributed throughout the space as best you can. The sound waves will expand into the room like a balloon inflating, touching and reflecting off every square foot of surface space faster than you can blink. The acoustic panels will combine to do their job, so long as you do not under treat the room.
With a flat ceiling, no. With a vaulted ceiling, yes. For a flat ceiling, the goal is coverage, more than location. So long as the right amount of sound panel is introduced into the room, the sound values will generate. As the echoes subside, greater clarity to original sound is restored, whether the panels are wall or ceiling mounted. If the ceiling is vaulted, then the better bet will be to target the inclined surfaces in the ceiling moreso than the perimeter noise-cancelling wall panels. With a pitched roof ceiling, the two angled ceiling slabs are actually reflecting the sound waves down into the middle of the room, concentrating the echoes in the center of the space, where the people are. So in this case, it makes more sense to target the ceiling surface moreso than the wall surface with your acoustic panel system.
For cosmetic purposes, commercial soundproofing treatments can target acoustic panels that are designed to blend into the space unnoticed. This will typically target the ceiling surface, more than the wall surface, to help maintain the design presentation into the room. Ceiling sound panels can be color matched to blend into the room. Fabric Panels are available in 70 color options, while Blush Panels can be custom painted to match to the specific paint color of the venue. Again, work with your sound consultant at NetWell to help craft the best sound panel application based on your starting point with the specifics of your room.
For the bulk of the cloth wrapped sound panel systems on the market, the goal would be to target 1′ thick panels in spaces that host primarily human voice, while a 2″ thick panel depth is preferable for rooms that host music. So for fellowship halls, classrooms, office call centers, cafeterias and restaurants, for example, the 1″ thick acoustic panel is ideal. But for the music room, the band room, auditorium, or restaurant setting with live music, the 2″ thick acoustic panel would be the better choice.
Commercial sound panels are made from a compressed fiberglass core, then wrapped with a cloth textile. The core is a 6# density material, so they are stiff and rigid. For durability, the edges can be dipped in an epoxy resin to stiffen them and make them crush proof when soundproofing a gymnasium. Otherwise the edges are natural. There is no need for an internal frame or any kind of plywood backing board that can reduce the sound values the noise-cancelling panels are designed to generate.
They can be, yes. While cloth wrapped sound reduction panels are not designed to take on moisture, the same panel system can be wrapped in a PVC skin to protect the panel against moisture. The VET Baffles are resistant to moisture, as are the Wet Room Panels, while the Fabric Panels are not. Yes. Acoustic panels should be class A fire rated, meeting a specification called the ASTM-e84 test. Flame spread below 25. Smoke density below 50. Any sound panel system introduced into a commercial space should meet this fire code.
Mechanical clip systems are shipped with every sound panel order. The clips will vary depending on the surface the sound panels will be mounted to. These clip options make it easy and affordable for clients to self install their sound panel systems.
